Sr. Software Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Designing and programming the next generation of Logigear’s core product,TestArchitect.
Researching various technologies and products in the market in order to leverage the best solutions for TestArchitect.
Work with Continued Engineering (CE) and QA teams in LogiGear to address escalated client issues in a timely manner.
Assisting the CE in quick adoption/implementation.
Work with CE/Service teams when new functionality is needed as part of POC.
Work with R&D team to build a knowledge base of common customer questions and issues.
Work as Trainer and coach for several junior developers.

REQUIREMENTS

General requirement:

University degree in Computer Science, or related field (Natural Science University)
At least 2 year of experience working as a Sr. software engineer/developer
Good working knowledge and experience (at least 2 years) of some programming languages such as: C/C++, Java (Swing library) dot Net (windows Forms), Visual Basic, HTML-based web applications
Very strong understanding of Swing, as well as JVM, J2EE and other Java related technologies.
Personal knowledge about automation, hooking to libraries, reflection, access bridges is a plus.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, deployment, and bug tracking.
Understanding of Open Source concepts and IDE tools such as Eclipse or VisualStudio is a plus.
Understanding of testing & quality assurances, especially automation testing is preferred.
Be proactive, dynamic and autonomous.
Be willing to work hard, tackle difficult issues and learn new technology quickly.
