Nguyen Quoc Hung - CEO of LogiGear Vietnam - said that LogiGear will have a recruitment and training plan for building a 25,000-software-testing-expert team in 2011. LogiGear, which has set up its operations in Vietnam since 2005 with 500 software testing engineers and experts, will expand its branches in central Vietnam and Hanoi. According to Gartner Group's estimate, software testing segment of the world will reach US $ 6.1 billion. Among them, India is at top position with over 40,000 employees bringing the profit of US $ 1 billion a year. Vietnam market's viability is highly evaluated based on five metrics: cost of labor; workforce suitability; political & economic stability; government policies on business and intellectual property protection; and facility in English of its IT-related graduates and professionals. Vietnam's software testing experts, however, just equivalent to 15% (6,000 employees) of India's one.
